Management Training

Training begins with our intensive 10-week management training program that moves you from the kitchen through the dining room and on to management trainee assignments. The training will typically take place in a Certified Training Store near you.

To provide you with ongoing development in your career, you'll participate in a four-day workshop at our Restaurant Support Center in Los Angeles approximately 18 months out of training. We call it M.S.D.W., or Management Skills Development Workshop. It's an opportunity for you to learn the finer points of running the business and to better understand the CPK culture. You'll participate in open forum discussions, workshops and one-on-one sessions with our company's leaders.

Continuous Learning

At CPK, the learning never stops. Once a year, all of our General Managers are flown in for our National GM Conference for three days of advanced leadership and development training. In addition to workshops and team building exercises, you will be invited to attend an awards ceremony to recognize top performers. We even throw in a little extra-curricular Management recreation. Incentive Programs

When it comes to rewards, CPK is an industry leader. In addition to excellent pay, 401(k) match programs, and an employee stock purchase program, we also offer generous bonuses. Managers receive quarterly performance bonuses based on 10% of their base salary, Assistant General Managers/Kitchen Managers on 20% of their salary and General Managers on 30%.

The incentive program for Senior General Managers delivers increased compensation and added perks... stock options, an unlimited Platinum CPK Dining Card, participation in an annual retreat, plus much more. Our Senior GM compensation package can exceed $100,000 a year!
